Meet Kyle Calderon, LCSW, RPT™
About Me
Welcome. I'm Kyle Calderon, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist dedicated to providing compassionate, affirming, and individualized care for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted.
My approach is relational, person-centered, and strength-based, meaning I focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship while helping clients recognize and build upon their existing strengths.
I specialize in supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as those navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

My Approach
Every person's story is unique, which is why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
I strive to meet clients where they are, creating a safe, collaborative space where healing and growth can happen at a pace that feels comfortable. Together, we'll explore challenges, identify strengths, and develop tools that support lasting well-being.
My work integrates person-centered, relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique strengths, goals, and lived experiences.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Care
Being neurodivergent is not something that needs to be fixed.
My goal is to provide a supportive environment where neurodivergent individuals can better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and address challenges such as anxiety, depression, executive functioning difficulties, and stress without feeling pressured to change who they are.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy collecting and playing video games, especially retro games, as well as drawing, painting, and creative writing. I value creativity and curiosity, and I enjoy learning about my clients' interests to help them better understand themselves and their unique strengths.
Play Therapy
For children, I use play therapy as a developmentally appropriate way to help them express emotions, process experiences, and build coping skills. Because children often communicate through play rather than words, this approach allows them to explore what they are feeling in a safe and natural way. Through play, children can develop emotional regulation, improve behavior, and build confidence in how they navigate their world.
